Home Depot

Every first Saturday of the month, Home Depot has a free craft for kids and their parents. Jeff has taken the girls to quite a few of these, as you can see from the pins on their aprons. They love it and have become quite comfortable with screwdrivers and hammers. This month's project was quite cool -- a message board with 1/2 white board and 1/2 bulletin board.

Ready to start, Daddy!

Cambria hard at work with "Phillipe" (anyone who watches Handy Manny will know that means a Phillips screwdriver).

Jeff was impressed with both girls' improvement with tools this time around.

Showing off the hammer.

Cambria's finished product (I love the glasses).

Avery was proud of hers (she and Jeff fixed her white board later on so that it faced the correct direction).

Aren't those building workshops great? And some of the projects make great gifts for grandparents! ;-)

That is so great! And that gives me a great idea of something to do in the future! Yay.
